New focus and energy from our FB team of Kevin Banaszak, Ian Bartelmez, Don Kirby (sound familiar? Welcome back, Don!) and George Ermert are re-energizing our social media efforts… and it’s beginning to pay off in greater numbers of followers. This not only gets the Wisconsin Waterfowler message out to a different duck hunting demographic, but having a robust social media presence is important to attracting new corporate sponsors (QuietKat, Dakota Kennels, Lucky Duck, Nolan’s Top Gun Outfitters, Rolling Plains Adventures and others). And, it allows us to show some love for our long-standing partners (Russell Moccasin, SportDOG Brand, Tanglefree, Vortex, and others). And despite being the single biggest seller of raffle tickets in WWA history (OK, I don’t have actual data on that), our Director of Administration, Kelcy Boettcher, manages to put out kudos-worthy newsletters like the recent Open Water Special Edition that has garnered praise from professional newsmen and readers alike. Speaking of raffles – only a few tickets remain in the Open Water Raffle; it’s selling out in remarkably short time (because it is a remarkably attractive package!)
