Waterfowl cleaning demo at the 2019 WWA Learn to Hunt

Learning to hunt waterfowl – It’s looking like the DNR has lifted COVID-related restrictions on Learn-to-Hunts (LTH) this fall. And that’s good news for WWA volunteers who are looking to put on three new LTH schools around the state. Thanks to:

  • The expandingly impactful Fox Valley Team led by Brad Miller;
  • Education Chair Dennis Nelson and fellow Director Todd Schultz (La Crosse);
  • The impressively organized new LTH organizer Kevin Sadler (SE WI), and
  • The perennial ironmen of Green Bay,

WWA is looking forward to graduating two to three times as many new waterfowlers as ever!  It’s not too late (but getting close) – want to play a role?  Leaders will get a helping hand from experienced WWA “school masters”.

Planning for the 2021 Duck Hunters EXPO is picking up steam. Expect a survey to gauge the programming topics and location issues that would motivate you, your family, or your cohorts to travel for a immersive day of waterfowling.  Want to put your hand on the tiller of this “ship”?
