SUMMARY:2023 Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join WWAs Directors\, staff\, Chapter leaders and key DNR biologists and regulators at WWA’s 39th Annual Meeting.\nThis celebration will be held at the Beaver Dam Conservationist Club. \nThis will be an opportunity to review the state of WWA: what did we do last year and what does the future look like for the Midwest’s premier state-‘based duckhunting organization?  What did chapters accomplish? What’s the DNR up to in managing the waterfowl population and hunting?  The latest scientific research? \nBreak up the winter doldrums (Packers schedule notwithstanding) and join us for a meal\, some drinks and raffles.  Cheap at twice the price! \nFeaturing the drawing of our Remember When Raffle\, a Class A (WI residents need not be present to win) raffle: \nDo you remember seeing your uncles and grandpa dressed in red plaid wool coat and pants\, wearing leather boots\, with a Winchester Model 94 30-30 leaning in the corner\, ready for the hunt? Recreate that memory with this raffle\, a little nostalgia in a modern era… the jacket and cap from stormy Kromer are new\, but made the same as way back then\, the rifle- immaculate – was made in 1939. The loafers from Russell Moccasin are still hand made in Wisconsin. Not sure what you’ll put in the decanter\, but blackberry  randy was a staple in our camp. DESCRIPTION:A special “Duck Hunt” Sporting Clays Shoot to benefit WWA\nSponsored by Daniel A. Manesis Transportation   \n \n$50 entry fee includes (1) Round of 50 Waterfowl Themed Sporting Clays\, (1) Shooters Raffle Ticket for every target you break\, (1) Entry into the Grand Door Prize drawing AND a 1-Year WWA Membership. Only $40 with a valid Military ID – ID verification will be done at shoot check-in. Youth ages 16 and under shoot for only $30! \nSponsor the Shoot for just $275 – includes five tickets for each bird broken\, one 3-bird Wern Valley Pheasant hunt\, three tickets for the grand door prize drawing\, one-year WWA sponsor membership and a 2023 sponsor gift of engraved Browning knife. \nAmmo will be available for shooters to purchase.\nDay-of registration & check-in begins at 8:30 am\n \nShooting: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm\, last shooters out at 2:15 pm\n \nRaffles Drawn 3:00 – 3:30 pm \n$30 Re-Shoots ($20 Youth) available day-of (also includes 1 Shooter’s Raffle ticket for each target broken and 1 additional Grand Door Prize entry) \nPlease note: Shoot will be held rain or shine. \nBring your pumps & semi-autos – three shells allowed. \nPlease note: In an effort to minimize bottlenecking\, the 2023 State Shoot will be a “run what you bring” event with no gun swapping allowed at stations.
