A tough fall can only mean warm weather thoughts for January.  Chain saw training and the Lake Mills project day are back in the books.  As previously reported, we will start training at 8:oo AM at the Sandy Beach Road DNR station (180 Sandy Beach Road, Lake Mills, WI 53551), now scheduled for January 11, 2020.  A project day will start mid-morning for volunteers already certified at the Lake Mills Wildlife Area.  The trainees will join the project crew for their field training.  I will send out an email to those interested previously.  Anyone that is interested in the training and to be on the distribution should contact Mike Alaimo at malaimo73@gmail.com.

In the event of snow, rain, sub-zero temps and/or other circumstances that could cancel the event the reschedule date will be held for January 18th.
