The DNR’s Taylor Finger shared with us the following USFWS reports that resulted from Spring surveys for various migratory birds, as well as their conclusions on migratory bird hunting in the ’20-21 seasons. Overall results in Wisconsin harvests showed a significant decline in 2021 versus the previous year. Which correlated to a significant decline in “active Hunters” in those seasons. These are generally just raw numbers – analysis and meanings remain work to be done.
