Along with many others across the state, who were racing the warm weather to have easy access to water sites, last week President Bruce Urben was joined by Abrams property neighbors, Josh & Carol Notz, as they went through the couple dozen nesting structures on the mitigation ponds, to remove any shell materials and put in fresh bedding to prepare them for another season.
Remember, if you’ve not gotten out to do the maintenance on your wood duck houses, try to make it out soon, as our return to cooler weather is no doubt just temporary and the ducks will be counting on you to have their potential breeding & brooding spots ready to go! Take a kid with you!
