I think that we have a great newsletter for your consideration this month, from the practical to poetic.
- Do we have gremlins in our waters, and roses in our marsh? Check out Warden Stroess invasive species article and new Habitat Chairman Grassmann’s ode to marshes.
- You may not be a carver, or collect antique decoys, but you should know that President Bruce Urben’s Decoy Corner attracts at least a couple of inquiries EVERY month. I don’t know much about these things, but I enjoy the human saga behind the waterfowling history. This month is no exception.
- WWA is making tremendous strides in having the sort of impact the state’s waterfowlers deserve. EXPO growth, greater education focus and funding, new habitat opportunities, policy progress… and it is ONLY because more and more volunteers are raising their hands to help drive those changes.
