A huge THANK YOU to The Bill Lastes family for their donation of a 14 foot aluminum row boat for the Abrams property. We have heard that some hunters at the Abrams property have had issues retrieving their ducks and geese if they did not have a dog and water levels were just above wader levels. Problem solved when WWA member Joel Doepke of Oconto, WI contacted us about a boat that his neighbor Bill Lastes wanted to get rid of.

With the help of Bryan Urben (Urben Builders), and his trailer and truck, we retrieved the boat and placed it near the center duck blind at the Abrams property shoreline.

The boat is in great condition, but needs a pair of oars and oarlocks. If any member has any oars they would like to donate please let us know at wwainfo@centurytel.net. There is a life vest in duck blind #1, and don’t forget to put the drain plug in before launching! Oh yeah, when we were out there we saw ducks on the pond… looked like Teal to me!

Season is only a month away!
