Thanks to the Wausau chapter committee and ALL of their volunteers for putting on a great banquet event last Saturday. A big shout-out to the chapter as well for selling over $1000 of UTV tickets.

And, speaking of those UTV tickets, if you’ve been selling (THANKS!), please get the stubs and money into Kelcy now.  We are coming up on the drawing taking place August 26th at the Hunter’s Eve Bash (consider joining us, it’s a ton of fun!).  Thanks, in advance, for all your help.  Without you we aren’t the successful Association that we are.  Thank You!  We could use several more volunteers at the WWA State Shoot at Wern Valley coming up this Saturday the 17th.  Bring your Semi-Auto or Pump shotgun and join in on the fun as I hope to work the volunteers in shifts so all can participate in the shooting fun. Call me and let me know if you’re available to help out (414.750.8260).

I have an opening on our North Dakota Duck and Goose Chasing Adventure September 27th to October 5th.  One of our regulars used some vacation time on an out of town wedding for his brother and now has no vacation time left so he is willing to give up his spot to some hard working volunteer who would like to shoot at thousands of ducks and geese.  He prefers it to be someone who is as crappy a shot as he is so that there are plenty of birds left for him when he returns next year.  The cost typically runs between $700 to $800 dollars.  Less if you are a good shot (lowers the cost of shells).  I would like to see as many of you out there as possible as we will celebrate my retirement this year.  Call me if you have any questions.  It will be fun hunting with over a dozen of your fellow committee members.  We have numerous hunting spots for all.
