Spring has sprung and the spring banquet season is now done. It is now time for Tom to get some rest, but first I will share some ideas with you to help make your autumn banquets the best. All right, I am no poet, but at least I know it. Enough already. Congratulations to all the spring banquet committees for your hard work on behalf of WWA. I am truly thankful for your efforts. In my travels this spring I have seen lots of nesting ducks and geese. I have even seen the rescue of 9 mallard ducklings from a storm sewer by members of the Twin Rivers committee just hours before their banquet. Now that is dedication!

Big thanks for all of the efforts of the Between the Lakes/Calumet County, South Suburban, Twin Rivers and the restarted Mississippi River committees for running some excellent events in April and early May.
Now that we have some nice weather approaching, it is time for you to consider a weekend UTV ticket sales event. Find a weekend with some local activities that draw good attendance and see if you can set up the trailered UTV and sell tickets. Contact a local business that draws foot traffic and see if they would allow you, or their staff, to sell tickets for a week. We desperately need to sell this raffle out and we won’t do it with the UTV sitting in the garage. Please make this a chapter mission to find an event to showcase the UTV to garner sales. Contact Rob, Bruce or myself to
make sure the Camo Beast is available. Don’t forget, all UTV sales go towards your 2019 banquet net AND we’ll be drawing a winner for one of the super cool Cabela’s coolers as a seller’s incentive prize!
We have several events in May & July that are put on by WWA staff and we could use some help in selling tickets. Contact Bruce or myself if you can help at a Sporting Clay Shoot or one of the Golf Outings.
Thanks again for all you do for WWA!
