DESCRIPTION:Join WWA staff\, board and volunteers for the annual state meeting of the organization.  Our afternoon session is open to any of our members to attend\, and this is a great opportunity to meet and greet your fellow WWA members and learn about the organization’s plans and goals for 2017 and beyond. \nWhile some details are still being finalized\, you can view our day’s draft agenda here\, and some highlights include: \n\nRecognition of our high performing chapters\, including the announcement of our 2017 Volunteer of the Year\nInduction of our 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Class\nHabitat Restoration program overview and Q&A session with WWA’s Project Director Peter Ziegler\n2018 Waterfowl Hunter’s Survey results and next steps\nAdopt-A-Wildlife Area updates and plans for 2018\nTaylor Finger\, WDNR’s Migratory Game Bird Ecologist\, will present on the “Early Teal” experiment & operational status followed by a Q&A session on the early teal hunting opportunity.\nAnd more!\n\nPlease come and join us for a delicious “Wilderness Traditional Deli Bar” luncheon\, including water\, coffee\, or soda\, from 12:00-12:30pm for just $10\, if paid online by January 23rd\, or $17.50 at the door. Alternatively\, space may be available to join just the meeting portion\, after 12:30\, if you do not wish to join us for lunch.
