WHAT Is a Sustaining Sponsor? A sustaining sponsor is any WWA member who signs up to make a recurring monthly donation to WWA.
What does it cost? You can become a Sustaining Sponsor for as little as $10 per month or any amount over that level which you choose.
WHY WOULD I? Do you care about sustaining or opening up more wetland habitat to hunt? Do you care about sustaining waterfowling in our state for future generations through education and legislative support? So does WWA… the pillars of our Association are Habitat, Education, and Waterfowler Advocacy. As a Sustaining Sponsor you help WWA maintain a steady funding that, just like your family budget, can be relied upon as a means to look ahead and determine which efforts best meet our member’s needs and wants.

A youth participant in a WWA youth hunt, your support can help introduce others to waterfowling.
$20 a month can be leveraged to match with grants to yield an acre of restored wetlands critical to the Wisconsin breeding ducks that inhabit our fall skies.
- Your $40 per month donation supports a learn-to-hunt program for up to 12 young adults to introduce them to waterfowling and the outdoor ethic it embodies.
- With every donation, WWA is able to continue to walk the halls of our state capital to ensure issues affecting the future of waterfowling are informed by our conviction that Wisconsin Waterfowlers bring far more to our communities than the ducks we harvest.
HOW do I become a Sustaining Sponsor? It’s easy! Follow this link https://wisducks.org/support-wwa/ (or type it into your browser) and move down the page to the “Make a Monthly Recurring/Sustaining Donation” section. Or simply click on the “Support WWA for as little as $10 per month! ” hot link and choose the amount that you wish to donate monthly from $10 to $200. If something changes in the future, you can choose to discontinue your monthly donation until things come back to normal. We guarantee its easier than trying to unsubscribe from some of those annoying marketing emails we probably all receive!
Does My $10 really make a difference? YES, it does! If just one out of every ten of our members chose to become a $10 recurring sponsor WWA could, by using matching federal and state grants, multiply those dollars into $252,000 per year to help support habitat, education and our advocacy efforts. Can I claim my Sustaining Sponsor donation on my taxes? Yes, you can! WWA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Donations made to WWA are deductible as permitted by law and you will be emailed a donation receipt for tax purposes when your card is processed each month.
