Brew Better Mornings While Supporting WWA

WWA and Terra Verde Coffee of Chilton, WI, recently teamed up to offer you a great chance to enjoy a superior-tasting morning cup of coffee at home or in the duck blind. Better yet, you can enjoy your coffee at the same time that you are sustaining WWA’s wetland restoration, hunter education, and legislative representation promises made to each of us.

How is this Possible?

Marko Sosa co-owns and operates Terra Verde Organic Coffee. Not only is Marko recognized as a great, small-batch coffee roaster, but Marko is also a WWA Life Member with a passion for waterfowl hunting and for helping others. Terra Verde Organic Coffee has supported WWA for several years by providing coffee gift boxes for WWA’s annual raffle calendar, and through donations made to various chapter events. Recently, Marko approached WWA with a fundraising proposal where a minimum of $5 for every bag of coffee sold by the fundraiser comes directly to WWA.

What Are My Options?

Terra Verde knows that we don’t all like our coffee the same way, so the fundraiser provides three WWA-branded options: Black Duck – a strong dark roast, Wood Duck – a medium roast, and Quiet Marsh – a Swiss water process decaffeinated option. Black Duck carries a bittersweet chocolate, caramel, and almond taste, while Wood Duck brings a softer milk chocolate, molasses, and nutty taste. Quiet Marsh allows you to enjoy a cup with a nutty chocolate, honeysuckle, and sugar cane flavor without worrying about falling asleep the night before your hunt or being too jittery when you’re in the blind (the birds will get you excited enough). Not only can you select your roast, but you can also choose your preferred grind size (whole bean, coarse, drip, or fine) and how big of a bag you want (12 oz, 2.5 lb, or 5 lb). Every purchase you make puts money in WWA’s operating budget, helping WWA fulfill our mission. Sales of every 12 oz bag yield $5, while a 2.5 lb bag returns $10 to WWA and a 5 lb bag puts $15 in our operating budget. You can even choose 5-, 20-, or 40-pack samplers to use as gifts or giveaways at your family or business functions. For each 5-, 20-, or 40-pack sampler sold, Terra Verde forwards $5, $10, or $20, respectively, to WWA.

How Do I Get Mine?

Getting your coffee is easier than you think. Go to WWA website’s Store and click on the WWA Coffee Fundraiser link. This will take you to Terra Verde’s fundraiser page. You can make a one-time purchase, but we urge you to consider becoming a subscription member and receive your WWA-labeled coffee monthly.
