Make a Difference – Volunteer!

WWA’s small size means we need committed volunteers to make a state-wide impact.  Some habitat projects are on DNR state wildlife areas through formal Adopt-a-Wildlife Area agreements.  Others involve municipal governments or even private landowners to improve habitat important to local wildlife.  And one project is at WWA’s Abrams property north of Green Bay. 

Raise your hand to be a difference maker in your local natural community.

  • Get your fingernails dirty by improving local properties for wildlife 
  • Increase duck population through nesting structures
  • Manage nesting platforms for endangered black terns
  • Remove invasive plants that crowd out native species
