A work group of WWA members from the Green Bay Chapter completed the brushing of their disabled duck blinds on September 19th at the Abrams Project property, located along Highway 41 in Oconto County near Abrams, WI. The blinds are ready for the Northern waterfowl opener on September 25th! The public is invited to use the blinds, but preference should be given to all disabled hunters. Thanks for your cooperation.

Almost two miles of disabled accessible trails are available at WWA’s Abrams property, along with three disabled accessible duck blinds and five disabled accessible deer hunting blinds. An aluminum boat with oars is available (near duck blind #2) for non-disabled guests; please bring your own PFD’s. We appreciate your help in keeping the boat turned over when not in use.

It appears that the ponds are being used by a variety of waterfowl including geese, wood ducks and mallards.

A big thank you to the following WWA GreenBay Chapter members for their work on the duck blinds for the upcoming season!
