Saturday, April 23rd, 21 volunteers and nine boats came together to spend half a day removing debris from the public wildlife area at Rome Pond.
These efforts were lead by WWA volunteers from the Twin Rivers and Waukesha County chapters, which have partnered together to “adopt” this wildlife area, in conjunction with the WDNR program of the same name. This was among the first efforts in this long-term arrangement, and the teams intend additional future works, upcoming.
