Black Tern season is a wrap.  The platforms became their own ecosystem.  They remained green with continued growth.  Evidence of ducks were on each, but in the air we only saw two terns.  The colony has moved on and the platforms pulled before they became hazards for teal hunters.

A single Tern platform that turned into a “mini jungle”.

Transporting a stack of four platforms out.

As summer slides into shorter evenings and soon colder temps, the fruits of our labor will be gathered.  We take pause to enjoy the outdoors and it’s spectacular bounty.

Chain Saw Training Cancelled:  As a result of busy schedules, end of summer vacations, calling contests, shoots, fishing, festivals, scouting and so on, the chain saw training will be moved to December or January.  Look for an update in a future report.
