Call to Action: Save Wisconsin’s Stewardship Program

I’m asking for your help.

Planned GivingThe Knowles Nelson Stewardship program is on the brink of becoming history.  Yet this is the most significant conservation tool in our state’s toolbox.  The back story on how we got here is complicated, but suffice to say that our elected officials need to hear from you that you want this program saved so you and future generations can enjoy the outdoor heritage that brought me to Wisconsin after I retired from military service.

Wisconsin is fortunate to have a rich sporting heritage. This dedicated conservation funding has allowed our sporting heritage to thrive by providing better opportunities for our state’s hunters, anglers, and trappers. Failure to reauthorize this program will reduce habitat quality and quantity across the state and negatively impact our time-honored outdoor traditions.

We need you to reach out to your elected officials to show your support for this program that is so critical to our state’s conservation heritage. Clicking the button below makes sending a message of support for this program to your personally elected officials easy.
