WWA was founded 40 years ago with the premise of growing more Wisconsin ducks for Wisconsin duck hunters.
One of many activities where we devote time, energy, and money is to our wood duck box program. Over the last month, many WWA volunteers have been in the field checking and installing boxes for the coming nesting season. To me, nothing speaks louder to the “grass roots” nature of who WWA is as an organization, as this activity.
Over almost four decades, we’ve helped duck hunters place, and annually check, thousands of boxes. Here’s a picture of Chris, Big George, and Brody, putting up ten boxes near the Wolf River. Special thanks to the Lake Poygan Sportsmans Club for the donation of boxes.
There’s still time to install a few boxes near your favorite duck spot! We have boxes available in our online store.
