I just cleaned up and put away my duck boat, hung my decoy bags, and opened the last duck hunting gifts found under the tree. What’s a duckhunter to do when faced with nine months until the next duck season?
Well, if you are fortunate, like me, you get a chance now to make a difference for the next season, and those beyond, by focusing on the opportunities WWA has in this coming year. We had a really BIG 2021. And we will be building on that in 2022. Are you willing to help?
Five ways YOU can play a role:
- MAKE A YEAR-END DONATION: don’t miss the opportunity to make a year-end, tax-deductible donation before midnight on Friday. Your support means we will grow even stronger in our advocacy, wetland restoration and education missions.
- BECOME A RECURRING SPONSOR: Become a recurring supporter of WWA by signing up now to make monthly contributions to our missions.
- Apply your energy to the efforts most important to you as a waterfowler. There are lots of things to be done, what will bring you the most joy? Volunteer with WWA in a wide range of activities, or tell us what you want to do, and let us help shape a role to fulfill a state waterfowling need.
- ATTEND AN EVENT. It’s fun, helps support our work, and maybe you’ll win something you’ve had your eye on!
- Last and certainly not least: RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP TODAY! With many events having been cancelled over the last couple of years due to the pandemic, our membership has taken a dip. IS YOUR MEMBERSHIP CURRENT? Stay informed and supportive by renewing your support to WWA. There are sweet Thank You gifts too!
Thanks in advance for what you will do to help make 2022 an even bigger year for WWA and the state’s waterfowlers!
