Fall mowing, trimming and brush clearing has been completed at WWA’s Abrams project site located just north of Green Bay. The trails on the Highway 41 side have been mowed, and the site has been trimmed to get ready to accept visitors this fall.
Thanks to Erich Schultz and Pro Plots, Inc. for their mowing services! I took some time myself to do some trimming, maintenance and cleanup on the north property.
Fall is a busy time at the Abrams property with hikers, duck and goose hunters, and deer hunters.
Season openers begin in September.
A new addition to the property is an aluminum boat and oars to assist hunters. Don’t forget the PFD in the duck blind. Hunters are cautioned to use the facility at their own risk. And ….remember to carry out what you carry in and please observe all private property boundaries.
