July is shooting month, whether it be clay pigeons or birdies, as in golf. The Ozaukee County Shoot, the Fox Valley Golf Outing, and the Abrams shoot are all taking place during the third and fourth weeks in July. It’s time to start sharpening up your shooting eyes for waterfowl season. Misses on ducks or geese don’t roast well. A brace of ducks starts with practice. It is time to get out and enjoy what is left of our summer and do it safely. Thanks again for your continued support. I hope to see more of you at the upcoming golf and shooting events this month.
I want to update you on some new products you will see at our upcoming events. You will get a chance to win some motion decoys from Lucky Duck and hunting gear from Beavertail. This is great gear to make your hunts more enjoyable.
Check out our Class A Raffle section as we add numerous new raffles by the week as our fall banquets begin their events. This is a good chance to win great guns at events you may not get a chance to attend. You need not be present to win. We will get you the prizes if you do. Want to win a Kimber Desert Night 380ACP? Hurry, these tickets will go fast for Valley Chapter’s Raffle drawn at the Fox Valley Golf Outing. Only a few tickets remain on the Ruger 556AR American Flag cerakote rifle. This is an almost impossible gun to get, so get your tickets fast. Check out the custom handgun raffle from our Waukesha Chapter. This is an awesome looking pistol!
I’d like to give a big thank you to all of our committee volunteers for all of their efforts during these trying times. I want to encourage all of our membership to give these individuals a big Thank You when you see them around town or one of our events. Please consider joining them.
Thanks for all your past and future support.
