Merry Christmas! Wait…what?

While there’s still a waterfowl season between now and Christmas, here’s what will make WWA’s holiday season a bit brighter (like my kids’ Christmas list, this one is likely to grow each month!):

WWA’s Christmas list contains:

  • Aggressively marketing WWA’s membership calendar – Our competition in the $20 price range, WI Wildlife Federation’s calendar, has opted not to offer one this year. What a great opportunity to expand our sales and bring more people to the WWA tent! PLEASE helps us take advantage of this opportunity by finding local establishments that might be able to sell them, or reach out to your friends and family.
  • Early planning of next year’s events. We need to get them scheduled so new RD Rob Monette will have time to provide the needed assistance. Chapters that didn’t hold an event will have to overcome the loss of inertia that a year off naturally brings. PLEASE don’t succumb to this challenge.
  • High energy, self-motivated volunteers who want to really move WWA forward in 2021. We are looking for committed waterfowlers (or non-waterfowlers, for that matter!) who can help “move the ball” in our state-wide activities of Policy, Habitat and Education. No chapter experience required, just a willingness to roll up your sleeves to make a difference.
  • Persons willing to help us “grow the team” in underrepresented areas of the state by establishing new chapters or helping ones that have fallen by the wayside over the years. Special incentives will apply!

What do you want WWA to leave under YOUR tree?
