Unemployment has skyrocketed and retirement accounts have taken a hit for sure (although rebounding as I write this) so we know that you may be rightly concerned about your own financial well-being.  Therefore, we’re trying to highlight ways to find ways-other-than-personal-donations, to help keep your WWA active and making a difference for Wisconsin Waterfowlers.

One of the ways to help WWA in these challenging times is to support our sponsors, whose significant support of WWA will help us get through this period where our other fundraising efforts have been so dramatically curtailed.

Connect us to MORE corporate sponsors.  WWA can do great things in getting out the word for businesses who might find value in connecting with outdoors men and women like you and me.  We look for win-win opportunities to share useful info with you, support WWA mission-work, and provide good ROI (return on investment to our corporate sponsors) Have a contact I should personally follow up with?  Let me know at bruceross@wi.rr.com.

Help support WWA and have a chance to win this Glock pistol!

Want to win something?  We still have some gun raffles going on, and of course, our UTV raffle sales have taken a serious hit.  Check them all out here.

Volunteer away your boredom.  A lot of you may be hunkering at home, with a fair bit of boredom beginning to settle in.  You may think about donating some of that extra time you have on your hands to begin getting involved with WWA volunteer activities.

While many activities might be tough to do at home, some may be possible, and for the ones that aren’t possible currently, this time may allow you to connect with us and do some research as to whether this is something of interest to you. If you have some unique skill or interest that’s not listed on our volunteer pages, let me know and maybe together we can create just the right fit.

One final note on volunteer opportunities, check out the article on the renamed Waterfowl Hunter’s Conference – working title: “THE WATERFOWLERS EXPO”.  This state-wide project, involving many organizations and sponsors, will be held in 2021, but there’s a lot of neat opportunities we need to explore between now and then to build and host a world class event.  You can jump in now at the early stages and make a huge difference for WiWaterfowlers.  Let me know if you’re interested.

Own a piece of Wisconsin waterfowling history.  Everyone one of us probably has a duck stamp print in our houses or cabins (or many more, in my case) and they bring great joy to us ….  but imagine owning an ORIGINAL Wisconsin Duck Stamp painting – the actual paintings from which duck stamp prints are made.  WWA will soon able to offer serious art lovers or waterfowl collectors just such an opportunity.  Check out the article with a preview of coming attractions.
