Public Land Restoration

With over 40 years of wetland restoration experience and tens of thousands of restored wetland acres to our credit, WWA has well-polished credentials to assist federal, state, and local governments with wetland restorations.

After historic budget cuts and staffing turnover, the Wisconsin DNR approached us to apply our hydrological restoration expertise to its extensive state land holdings.

Similarly, the US Fish and Wildlife Service works with WWA on restoration projects in the Necedah Wildlife Refuge and other areas around the state.

In these and other partnerships, WWA is restoring thousands of wetland acres that support wildlife, and which we all can enjoy.  These projects help surrounding communities with cleaner waters and flood mitigation.
